The foundation and the fireplace are begun.
The framing begins.
The electrical, plumbing and heating rough-ins are done and the insulation is in place. The drywallers begin tomorrow. In the meantime, the roof is almost finished and will be complete this week.
The roof is finished in the nick of time. (Yes, that is snow on the roof!) The rock wainscot is finished across the front and we are starting the cedar siding. Meanwhile the drywall is in place and they are taping and texturing it.
The drywall is taped and textured. Today, the painters start priming and painting the interior. The masterbath Jacuzzi is mounted and will be tiled as soon as the painters are done. Meanwhile, the exterior siding is progressing.
The painters are finishing the upstairs painting. The garage is finished being painted and the garage doors are installed. Meanwhile, the exterior siding is progressing. Next week, the hickory floor in the living room starts going down.
The hickory floor is installed and will be sanded and finished next week. It doesn't look like much in this photo, but look at the photo below to see how it comes out! Meanwhile, the tilework is progressing, the interior is painted and the window - door trim installation is underway. The kitchen cabinets will be installed next week.

Masterbath
Everything is coming together quickly. The hickory floors came out great. This week, we are finishing the window and door trim plus installing the interior doors. The heating is done and the cabinets will be finished next week. We are doing granite tile countertops. The far right photo is of the burl on the front column in the living room.
