   The Schrimsher home was designed with lots of windows to take advantage of the fabulous views from Lot 18 in the Highlands Above MeadowCreek.  Steve & Nancy Schrimsher built it as their personal home in 2001  and sold it to the Grissom family in 2003.  Now the Grissoms plan to build a larger home on Highlands Lot 11.
     The home has many amenities such as a 40-year architectural shingle roof, hickory floors, ceramic tile bathroom counters, granite tile kitchen counters, custom hickory cabinets and much more.
     The home was designed for year round ease of living.  The master suite, living room, kitchen and utility room are all on one level.  The downstairs can be used as a separate apartment with a kitchenette.  Guests can have complete privacy.  Because the house sits on top of a ridge, it gets all day full sun.  We covered the outside deck to make for more comfortable entertaining on sunny summer evenings (the sun doesn't set until after 10pm in mid-summer).
     The cedar siding and log accents along with the hickory floors give the house a warm home feeling, especially when a fire is going in the rock fireplace.   Come home from a day of skiing, soak in the outdoor hot tub and then curl up by the fire in the rock fireplace.  Its a rough life, but someone has to do it.
