11-5-00
The foundation is poured before winter sets in. This gives us an early start in the spring.
3-17
Spring is here. Because we poured the foundation in the fall, we are getting about a 2 month headstart on construction. This week, we poured the garage slab and started framing.
3-30
The subfloor is done and most of the walls are framed. Next week the roof trusses arrive on Wednesday and should be in place by Friday. Note the great views of the mountains in the background. The living room will have huge windows to take in the views.
4-06
The walls are framed and the roof trusses are being installed. Next week the exposed beams in the living room will be placed and the sheeting put on the roof. The living room ceiling is tongue & groove pine that we are prefinishing.
4-16
The exposed beams in the living room are in place and the roof sheeting has begun. The electrician, plumber, & heating contractor are starting their rough-ins this week.
