The preliminary excavation is done and the foundation footers and stem walls will be poured next week. We were delayed getting started by the heavy rains this spring. Completion should be in October, just in time for the Holidays.

The stemwalls are poured. Next, we will backfill inside the stemwalls, do the rough-in plumbing that goes under the slab, and then pour the slab.

The slab is poured and the basement framing has begun. Once the subfloor is framed, the excavator will back fill around the rear wall and grade the driveway.

The walls are framed and sheeted. The roof trusses are being installed. Next week, the roof will be sheeted and the plumbers and electricians will start their rough-ins.

The plumbing and electrical rough-ins are done and inspected. The propane fireplace is installed and ready for the rock work. Tomorrow the insulation crew will begin.

The cedar siding is almost done and the roof metal will be finished this week. The insulation is installed and the drywall is well underway. It will be textured next week.

The drywall is finished and the primer is done. Next week the painter will finish the walls and the finish carpenter will start triming the windows and doors. Also, the rock mason will build the fireplace wall. Meanwhile, the final grading is being completed including the natural rock retaining wall.
