The driveway is roughed in and the initial excavation is done with the concrete foundation work begins this week.

The foundation and slab are poured. The excavator will backfill around the stemwall and put in the driveway turnaround this week. The well is scheduled to be drilled this week.

The well is drilled. It is 250' deep with 40 gallons per minute. So far all of the wells drilled in the Highlands have had great tasting water and need no filtration. We start framing late next week.

The driveway and parking are roughed in. The septic drain field is installed. Framing starts on Monday.

The first floor is framed and the main floor will be framed this week. The trusses arrive on Thursday and the goal is to get the roof sheeted before it snows.

The house is almost completely framed. The deck will be roofed this week. The plumber and electrician start their rough-ins this week.
1-10
We took the month of December off for vacation and are now back to work. The plumbing rough-in is done and the fireplace is roughed in. All of the log siding is done and all of the windows are installed.

The roofing metal is going on this week and the electricians are finishing their rough-ins. Next week, the insulation goes in and then the drywallers begin.

The roof is being finished today, just in time for a new snowstorm tomorrow.

The drywall is hung. The taping and should be done by early next week. Then the painters spray the interior.
