The insulation is done and the drywallers have begun hanging the drywall. Meanwhile the exterior log siding is going on.

The siding is coming along well and today the roofing metal is going on before the next snow. We use metal wainscoting (same color as the roof) on the house sides to prevent the snow from discoloring the log siding. It also makes an attractive contrast on the sides.

The drywall is finished, the fireplace is done, and the tile work is in progress. The rustic maple floor is installed and will get its first finish coat next week. The finish carpenter has started the interior trim.
